About Dr. Erin Westaway
MY MISSION
Our culture teaches us to focus on achievement and this often translates to putting our careers at the center of our lives. For many this also means disconnecting from an inherent sense of peace, self worth, and deeper connection to the world around us. It may mean suppressing the intuition and the spirit or separating from purpose. My mission is to help my clients reconnect with their own deep sense of knowing while releasing old patterns that get in their way. I want you to thrive at work and at home so you can serve fully and enjoy life while you do it.
I am a coach and healer, a doctor, a storykeeper, a teacher, and an intuitive soul focused on helping my clients to get unstuck, clear their blocks, and tend the flame that lights up their lives.
My Background
While my current work is as a coach and healer, I weave together a diverse background of skills to help my clients get the shifts they’re looking for (and some they didn’t even know they needed). My background in biofeedback, somatic work, counseling, and lifestyle medicine all come to play as I bring in story, nervous system regulation, and tools to build joy, resilience, and to align the body and mind with the soul.
As a trained and licensed naturopathic physician in the state of Washington, I ran a family practice for nearly 10 years. After years of practice one thing became very clear: though my clients came to me with a variety of physical ailments, almost all of them were suffering the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual impacts of high stress. The shift from doctor to coach and energy healer allows me to put this work front and center in a different way and to build a relationship that is more empowering for my clients. I’m thrilled with the results and so are my clients.
I hold a BA in English Literature from Bowdoin College and a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University where I have also taught as a lecturer in the philosophy and practice of naturopathic medicine. I have a deep commitment to and understanding of the healing power within each of us and am honored to serve each of my clients as they discover this power within themselves.
